Humble beginnings can create spectacular results.  The black car in these photos started as a $300 wrecking yard beater.  Any year Type 1 VW beetle will work.  This kit will NOT fit ANY Super Beetle.  The Super is a completely different car and no parts of this kit will fit one.

You will need a Type 1 VW beetle body (complete).  You will need an engine and transaxle (complete).  You will need 4 rims (chevy bolt pattern 5 x 4 3/4”) and tires.  Also needed will be whatever paint and interior you choose.  Any chrome plating will be done by the builders all parts are shipped raw steel. 


You will need basic hand tools including a battery powered drill, a 4 1/2” angle

grinder, a “Sawzall” type reciprocating saw, an assortment of metric wrenches and some sanding materials.


This is a quite simple build and can be accomplished by just about anyone that has the desire to build something truly unique.  Many of these kits have been completed by first time builders.  Because the front tube axle suspension is truly a bolt-on assembly, all the really difficult work and fabrication has been done for you.  Each front suspension kit is installed on a VW pan, adjusted and set-up prior to shipping it to the customer.
